We are proud to have assembled a team of instructors whose combined Arctic field experience forms the foundation of everything we do. Every member of our training team has extensive hands-on experience working in Arctic environments across multiple professional roles. They have operated in demanding northern conditions through military service, expedition leadership, professional Arctic guiding, bushcraft instruction, and long-distance polar travel.
This practical background is lived experience. Because our instructors have applied Arctic skills in real operational contexts, they understand both how to teach them effectively and how those skills must function under real pressure. This allows us to bridge the gap between classroom instruction and field application in a way few providers can.
Our training methodology is systematic and structured. We focus on disciplined decision-making, risk assessment, environmental awareness, and the practical application of skills in extreme cold-weather conditions. The diversity of our instructors’ professional experience enables us to approach Arctic safety and survival from multiple operational perspectives, giving participants a comprehensive and well-grounded understanding of how to operate safely and effectively in northern environments.
Arctic Survival Training Finland is also registered in NATO procurement systems (NCAGE holder), reflecting our ability to meet formal international procurement requirements.
